You must have noticed a common symbol on trash cans, dump trucks and garbage bags. Yes, that’s what I am talking about, the recycling symbol.  We learn the phrase “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” since our childhood, to understand the importance of a healthier environment. We all are aware of the fact that recycling is simple and can make this world a better place to live and the benefits that we get out of recycling are numerous. Recycling is a process that requires time and effort to separate the trash and send it away. The benefits of recycling are simple but the effects are apparently large. Almost everything we see around us can be recycled; it’s just that different materials require different techniques to recycle. Recyclable materials include electronics, garments, glass, metal, paper, plastics, batteries, biodegradable waste and much more.

There are significant economic and environmental benefits that are associated with recycling. Recycling surely helps create jobs, reduces the need of new landfills, saves resources and adds significantly to our economy.

Let’s have a look at some recycling benefits below.
